VA Opportunity

I'm looking for a VA with a technological know-how and a creative eye who takes initiative and can efficiently handle administrative tasks to a high-quality with minimal supervision.

I'm an inclusion and equality consultant for children’s books. I consult on individual books and also run group and team programmes that combine training and consultancy.

The role
Initially the role will focus more on technological support as I'm giving an opportunity to a publishing intern for social media support, but it may expand to include this in future. I'm sure there's loads you can help we with that I haven't quite figured out yet, so the list below is not exclusive and I'm likely to think of things last minute!

 Initial responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Editing captions on videos (probably using Microsoft Stream) and converting caption files to SRT.

  • Scheduling emails on Mailerlite

  • Setting up Mailerlite automations with MemberVault

  • Scheduling drip feed projects on MemberVault

  • Updating programmes on MemberVault

  • Setting up new Teams in Microsoft 365

  • Posting/scheduling post in Facebook groups

The role may expand to include

  • Social media planning and scheduling (LinkedIn and Instagram)

  • Scheduling meetings

  • Email management

  • Marketing support

  • Organising and posting blogs

  • Calendar management

  • Raising invoices

  • Developing systems and workflows

Essential skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Business 365, specifically Teams

  • Proactive self-starter

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of MemberVault

  • Working knowledge of Mailerlite

  • Working knowledge of Trello

  • Working knowledge of Slack

  • Working knowledge of Canva

  • Working knowledge of Wix
